Fonts are not embedded

KDP rejects any interior that references a font instead of carrying it. This is the single most common rejection.

What to do

1. Open the PDF in the pre-flight checker; every font is listed as embedded or not.
2. If your writing tool offers an export option, enable font embedding and export again.
3. Avoid the PDF base-14 fonts (Helvetica, Times, Courier). They are referenced by name, not embedded, even though they look fine on screen.
4. Interiors generated here always embed their fonts, so regenerating is a fast fix.
